Logitech g920 shifter not working? Here’s what you need to do and how to fix it. I also faced the same problem and did not know what to do in the beginning.
After it, I searched through the internet and I found out some of the solutions which I tried myself. Some of them are as follows.

ToggleMy Logitech g920 shifter isn’t responding
I tried to update my Logitech driving force gt and I pressed shift+s when it was updating and it restarted my PC, but then I was unable to get any input from my G920. Has anyone else had issues? Here’s what I tried.
Resetting the USB device
If you’re having trouble getting your G-Shift to work, you may need to reset it. To do so, go into Device Manager on your PC and look for a device called USB Game Controller.
Right-click it and choose Properties. Then select Reset Device. This will fully refresh your device. If after doing that, nothing seems to change, then move on to the next step.
Reinstalling the driver
On some older Logitech peripherals, you’ll have to download and reinstall a driver if your G920 isn’t working properly. Go to their website and search for your device under downloads. Look for a Download Driver link, then click it.
You may be prompted to enter your model number or serial number as part of that process. Once it begins downloading, follow any on-screen prompts and restart your PC when asked. Check if that fixes your issue—and if it doesn’t, read on!
Unplugging, waiting, and plugging back in again
The first thing you should try if your controller isn’t responding is to just unplug it from your computer, wait a minute and then plug it back in. This may seem like an odd step but there’s actually some value in it.
If you own an Xbox One or PS4 controller, for example, turning off its Bluetooth connection can help solve connectivity issues. It’s probably a good idea to go ahead and plug your controller into another port on your computer as well while you’re at it.
Having said that, unless you know why your problem exists in the first place, chances are good that none of these fixes will make much of a difference. The next sections will help with that.
Damage Power Connection
If you find your device not responding properly then it might be due to faulty wall outlet. It is also necessary to make sure that your pedal set is correctly plugged in. After correcting these issues try to turn on the Logitech G920 Shifter to see if there is any betterment or not.
Reconnecting your wheel
It’s possible your wheel stopped communicating with your PC. Most wheels and pedals use a USB cable to connect to your computer. Try unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work, follow these steps
1) Open up Device Manager (search for it if you don’t know where it is)
2) Expand Human Interface Devices
3) Right-click on the HID-compliant game controller or similar name
4) Click Uninstall
5) Restart your computer
Updating firmware
If a piece of hardware doesn’t work, one possible solution is to update its firmware. Firmware is like software for a device and manufacturers regularly issue updates to ensure your gadget performs up to spec.
It might be worth checking whether there are any new firmware versions available for your Logitech G920 Racing Wheel or other gaming accessories. To do so, connect your wheel to an open USB port on your PC or laptop, switch it on and wait for Windows to recognize it.
Then go online and visit Logitech’s website; from there you can download any new firmware versions that are available for download.

Conclusion
The final step is to re-plug your shifter in, making sure that both plugs are completely pushed into their ports. If they do not push in all of the ways, push on them until they do.
I had to do that for mine and after that, my issue was solved and my G920 shifter worked properly again. I hope these steps help you guys out as well!
