Keurig All Lights Flashing – The Ultimate Guide

Recently, I was brewing some K-Cups with my Keurig and all of the lights started flashing on the machine, and then nothing happened.

I wasn’t sure what was going on at first, but after a little research, I found out that it’s quite common with Keurig K-Cup brewers to experience this error code when there is a clog in the system or some other minor mechanical issue.

Below, I’ve outlined what to do if your Keurig displays this error code to hopefully save you the aggravation of having to manually fix it yourself.

Reset your brewer

If you think your brewer is not working correctly, start by resetting it. Follow these simple steps to do so:

  • Turn off your brewer and unplug it from its power source
  • Allow 30 seconds for your brewer to cool down
  • While holding down both buttons on top of your brewer, plug in your brewer and turn it back on
  • Continue holding down both buttons until you hear a single beep or see a small green light (depending on the model)
  • You have now successfully reset your brewer
  • Afterward, check out my next steps below to make sure there are no other issues with it before trying a reset again if necessary!Keurig All Lights Flashing

Clearing any clogs

This can be done by pouring a mixture of vinegar and water down your Keurig. If you do not have vinegar, brew two k-cups with plain water.

Once you pour out that last cup, run one cup of plain hot water through your Keurig (without a K-cup) to heat up your brewer.

Then dump out that hot water and fill it up again with a mixture of 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 cold water to let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Pour out any remaining vinegar solution and wipe down your brewer with a damp cloth or paper towel.

You should then run 2 cycles without any K-Cups in order to flush out all remaining vinegar from your machine before brewing again.

Water level, descaling, and other solutions

The water level is one of a few areas where some Keurig K55 owners have had problems with their machines.

If your coffee maker isn’t working, it could be because it doesn’t have enough water in it.

This can be confusing, especially if you try to brew right after filling up or after cleaning (both of which require additional water).

In order to solve that problem, make sure that there’s at least one inch of water above where you plan on inserting your K-Cup.

You should also check to see if your machine needs descaling; over time mineral deposits may build up inside and cause issues like yours.

Troubleshooting with the display lights

If you have cleaned and re-installed your Keurig, it’s a good idea to check that your brewer is not overheating by taking a quick look at some of its display lights.

After filling a clean carafe with water, brew on your machine.

When it’s finished brewing, take a look at these three display lights:

1) Brew Strength Light – If you see any light flashing in green or orange, it means there may be an issue with your Keurig’s water temperature or pressure that could cause problems if ignored.

2) Water Temp Light –If you see any light flashing in green or orange, it means there may be an issue with your Keurig’s water temperature or pressure that could cause problems if ignored.

What to do if things don’t improve?

When your Keurig is flashing, it’s a sign that there’s an error with your machine. This can be caused by a number of factors, including empty water reservoirs and clogged nozzles.

These are two things you can check to get back up and running in no time! In order to troubleshoot any issue you have with your brewer, start by checking for these issues first.

If they don’t solve your problem, keep reading to learn about additional solutions.
