Check if it’s not on
It’s possible that your screen isn’t responding to touch because it isn’t turned on. Make sure you press and hold down Power before turning it on.
If it’s not on, you will see a No Picture message, which means it’s not connected to Wi-Fi yet (that’s what we’re working on next).

Clean power button
If it’s just a matter of cleaning, use an LCD cleaner or spray on a microfiber cloth. Make sure you follow directions and don’t get too close to any components.
Only allow liquid to touch parts that you know can withstand contact with liquid.

On some models, all of these components are sold separately rather than as part of an expensive display replacement kit.
You can try our troubleshooting steps below before going ahead and buying something that you may not need. Make sure your buttons have enough give in them when pressed.
Try resetting
To do that, turn off your power fryer by pressing Cancel on it. Then unplug it from the wall and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in.
You should also check to make sure all of your parts are dry and wipe them down with a soft cloth if they’re wet or dirty. That might solve your problem! If not, move on to the next step.
Replace control board
Since there is no display output, we’ll test each pin in turn with a multimeter. We will be looking for 0V (ground) when pressing a key and 5V when not pressing any key.
If we get 5V all of the time, it means that a particular pad on our control board is not making good contact with its counterpart on our touch screen.
To fix it, either clean up any corrosion on both parts or slightly bend/unbend them until they touch properly.
If after cleaning up both sides, you still have faulty readings from your multimeter, replace your control board! It has burned out! Replace your control board with a new one and you should be back in business.
Replace display board
Disconnect power from the unit. Use a small flathead screwdriver to remove three screws from face of control panel.
These are located on top and two on bottom. Gently pry face-off of control panel, using your fingernail around edges.
There are several wires connected to the display board that needs to be disconnected before you can replace it.
They are located under the black tape and will be numbered, as well as labeled with their function (ex: power button). Disconnect all wires by lifting up on the black locking mechanism.
