Recently, I bought my Cuisinart Coffee Maker at Costco, and while the coffee it brews tastes great, the clock on the front keeps running too fast. I want to fix this problem before it gets worse.
I was confused in the beginning because I did not get any solution but then I tried various fixes. Some of them are as follows.
What you need to do is to simply follow them and hopefully, like me, you will also be able to get rid of your problem.

ToggleCheck the Display Settings
It sounds counterintuitive, but if your Cuisinart coffee maker’s clock runs fast, there’s a good chance it’s because you have it set to run on display mode.
You can fix it by changing it to run on auto mode instead.
This usually won’t fix a broken display, but it will stop your clock from running fast and make you think your machine needs repair.
Run a cycle of plain water through your machine to flush out any remaining old water in case that was causing your problems.
Clean Out the Water Reservoir
Run a cycle of freshwater to clean out your water reservoir (the first step in any troubleshooting process is always to empty and clean things).
If you run into a problem with scale or other sediments, you’ll want to start with a clean slate.
You can also pour vinegar into your reservoir, although if your machine has an auto-brew feature, it may react negatively to that.
To be on the safe side, we recommend trying running a cycle of freshwater before anything else. If that doesn’t fix it, check out our next suggestion.
Reset the Clock
If your Cuisinart coffee maker’s clock is running fast, try resetting it. Hold down both Cup and Hour buttons simultaneously for 15 seconds to restart the clock.
If you have any trouble with either of these buttons, you can unplug and replug your coffee maker while holding down those two buttons; they should become more responsive after a few tries.
Just make sure that you don’t continue to hold them down beyond 15 seconds or you’ll risk making your machine completely inoperable!
Also you should reset your device after using several times. It helps you to keep your device in good working status. Hibernating electrical devices is one the best solution among all of them.
Install New Filters
You may have purchased a filter that was supposed to help regulate your Cuisinart coffee maker’s clock. Unfortunately, a clogged filter is one of many things that can make your clock run fast.
There are two types of filters you can install to fix your machine: paper and permanent. When installing either type, make sure that it doesn’t protrude more than 1/2 inch above the top edge of the basket.
Resetting the Machine
Let’s face it unless your coffee maker is on a timer, you probably don’t want to wake up at 5 AM just to make yourself a cup of coffee.
So why does your coffee maker automatically shut off? It’s so that people don’t leave their coffee makers turned on all day long wasting energy and money.
But because there are lots of folks like us who occasionally sleep in or forget to turn their coffee maker off, manufacturers have given us a way around that auto-off feature.
Turn Off Auto-Off Feature
The first thing you should do is turn off your coffee maker’s Auto-Off feature if it has one. Doing so means that even if your clock runs fast, you’ll still get coffee! If your Cuisinart doesn’t have an auto-off feature, skip to other steps.
To find out how to turn off auto-off on a specific model of Cuisinart coffeemaker, please see our detailed guide on How to Turn Off Automatic Shut Off in Cuisinart Coffee Makers.

Conclusion
It’s easy to adjust an out-of-sync clock if you have a digital readout. Just open up your coffee maker and remove or reposition its battery.
If you don’t have a digital readout, turn on your machine and let it warm up for about 30 seconds.
Then, with some quick math, figure out how many minutes are left to brew; once you know that number, simply subtract 30 from it—that will give you your time remaining in minutes.
Now that you know how long to wait for your brew cycle to finish, use your watch or phone as a timer and let your coffee maker do its thing!
